Surrounded by the warm waters of the Straits of Malacca and the Andaman Sea, the Langkawi Archipelago consists of 104 islands. Langkawi Island is the largest and only inhabited island here. The protected area on the island is home to wild animals, so it has been listed as a UNESCO World Geopark. The more recommended beaches in Langkawi include Cenang beach. There is a whole row of sea view restaurants on the beach, and street singers singing cheerful tunes. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset accompanied by the singing. If you prefer quiet beaches, you can also go to Tanjung Rhu Beach, which has fewer tourists. Just keep walking northeast along the beach of Tanjung Rhu Resort, and the pine forest will become more and more lush, surrounded by green bayshore. If you want to take photos, this is the place!
