If you’ve ever seen that iconic Marriott promo shot with an infinity pool blending into the ocean—yep, that’s The Westin Langkawi. Nestled on the island’s southeastern coast, the resort boasts 221 rooms and 20 private villas, making it one of the largest beachfront properties in Langkawi.

🛬 It’s about a 35-minute drive from the airport. The moment you step into the lobby, you’re welcomed by a charming, vintage tropical vibe. Elite Bonvoy members have their own check-in lounge—fast, smooth, and professional.

🎁 I booked a standard room and successfully used a Suite Night Award to upgrade to a 1-Bedroom Private Pool Villa—confirmed just two days later!

The villa was approx. 96 sqm, featuring a bedroom, living room, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a private pool with direct beach access. Every morning, staff came to clean the pool area—such great service! Amenities included full-size White Tea bath products.

🍸 Although there’s no executive lounge, elite members can enjoy 2 complimentary drinks daily at the ocean-facing Breeze Lounge.

🍽️ Breakfast at Seasonal Tastes was excellent—offering both Western and Malaysian options, plus champagne! 🥂 For dinner, we reserved a seaside table at Tide Restaurant and had a seafood platter and baked rice. Delicious food with an unforgettable sunset view.

📍 The location is great—just a short walk to Jetty Point, Eagle Square, and nearby local shops. But honestly? I barely left the resort. I’d rather spend my time lounging in the villa, listening to the waves, and soaking up the tranquility. 🌊
