Gosaikunda is one of the holiest place for Hindu Pilgrimage that lies in Langtang National Park north of Kathmandu. It is popular among pilgrims and trekkers with its beautiful lake in high altitude. Normally it takes 4 days for trekking from capital of Rasuwa district but it only takes half an hour by flight from Tribhuwan Airport, Kathmandu. The lake lies in the altitude above 4000 meters hence there could be difficulty in breathing to some visitors.

Our trip started early in the morning as the weather is unpredictable in the mountains and could go wrong in the afternoon. It was a family trip and weather also supported us well. We made our offerings with flowers and rested down to drink tea, took pictures and returned. Overall trip was 3 hours and it was a smooth journey. Highly recommended if you are not fit enough to trek yet want to visit this beautiful gem.
