❄Yunbingshan Snow Watching Time
⛄From late December to February of the following year, the weather with clear skies after snow is very exciting!
It is recommended to go on a one-day tour with a group. I booked 128 and departed from Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town. The ticket is 40 (group purchase price) and there is nothing else.
🕐Tour time:
Meet at Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town at 7:30 in the morning, walk to the gate at around 12:00, and arrive at the gate at 13:00;
At 14:00, we arrived at the 3-kilometer summit. There was someone checking tickets here.
15:30 Arrive at the check-in location across two provinces (there is time for taking pictures and playing in the middle)
17:00 Descend to the gate
Return to Guangzhou at 17:30
Arrive at Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town at 22:00

🚗Transportation: 3-4 hours direct departure from Guangzhou
🅿️Parking lot: Parking Lot 1 (main entrance)/Parking Lot 2 (midway up the mountain)
Tips: The road is slippery in the snow, and the parking lot of the scenic spot is closed and no one is allowed to enter. Only guests staying in the scenic spot can drive in. The temporary parking lot on the roadside is 50💰

Full hiking distance: about 8km
Cumulative climb: about 800 meters
Tips: The cable car is not open in the snowy area, so you have to walk the whole way.
🧤Be sure to bring crampons to prevent slipping. It’s still quite cold. I wore snow boots and fleece pants. I had to protect my face from strong winds. If you don’t wear a mask, it will sting. Bring gloves, hats and scarves if you can, as they will keep your baby warm. You should bring it with you and stick it on your phone, because the temperature at the top of the mountain was too low and it froze and shut down several times when taking pictures.
According to the weather forecast, on December 12, the temperature in Lanshan County is expected to plummet to 3 degrees Celsius. By then, Yunbingshan’s first rime and snow scene in 2024
