White Pagoda Mountain (Baita Shan), Lanzhou 🏯⛰️ — sitting high above the Yellow River, this Buddhist pagoda offers some of the best panoramic views of Lanzhou. The iconic White Pagoda was first built during the Yuan Dynasty and stands as a striking contrast against the rugged hills and flowing river below.

The climb up takes you through peaceful altars, prayer wheels, and pavilions where locals sip tea or play cards. From the top, you’ll spot the famous Zhongshan Bridge — one of the oldest iron bridges in China — stretching across the river like a steel dragon 🐉.
