Day 1: Classic Old Lanzhou Route

Day 2:

📍 Zhongshan Bridge (next to Baita Mountain Park, Chengguan District)
The iron bridge is spectacular during the day 🌉
📍 Waterwheel Expo Park (not highly recommended)
📍 Mother River Sculpture of the Yellow River (Nanbinhe Middle Road, Qilihe District)

🌧 Day 2: Romantic city walk in the rain
🏞 Morning market experience: Wuqian Old Street Morning Market (Chengguan District)
Only vegetables, no snacks 🥬
⛰ Hike Lanshan Park:
From Ertaige to Santaige (too foggy to see anything 😭)
Recommended to come in the evening! The Lanzhou nightscape is stunning 🌃
🏯 Yellow River Tower (Nanbinhe East Road, Qilihe District)
A great spot for a high vantage point
🏮 Lanzhou Old Street (Nanbinhe West Road, Qilihe District)
Ancient-style commercial street, nice night view
Finally got to see the Lanshan night view this time!

🍖 Day 3: Foodie finale
🐎 Visit Gansu Museum to see the Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow
☕ Have a cup of creative coffee and take a certification photo
🌊 Stroll in Wuqian Mountain Park (Wuqian South Road, Chengguan District)
End the trip with a cup of Sanpaotai tea by the Yellow River 🏮

🐑 Hand-pulled lamb/meat skewers/stomach-wrapped meat
🍜 Beef noodles (all-you-can-eat for 8 yuan!)
🥛 Milk fermented rice with egg (a night market must-buy)
🍹 Fangha Sweet Fermented Milk Tea (Lanzhou exclusive)
🌹 Bitter water rose yogurt
Also gray beans, niangpi (cold skin noodles), shredded potato pancakes, hand-grabbed rice... you simply can't finish it all!

⚠️ Tips:
1. Lanshan Park is recommended in the evening, so you can wait to see the night view.
You can also go to Santaige for a nice night view, about a 20-minute walk. Take a car down to Ertaige, and the driver will even let you get off at the Lanshan Archway for photos 📷
2. Bring a jacket! It’s windy by the Yellow River! The temperature difference in the mountains is also big!
3. Night markets are livelier after 7 PM. Personally prefer Zhengning Night Market and Dazhong Alley Night Market!
