Three days and four nights of wild fun! Complete guide to eating, playing, and exploring Lanzhou

Day 1: Classic Old Lanzhou Route
๐Ÿš„ Get off the train and head straight for beef noodles ๐Ÿœ to recharge!
๐ŸŒƒ Night stroll through three major night markets:
- Zhengning Night Market (Yongchang Road, Chengguan District) ๐Ÿข
- Ethnic Flavor Street (Qilihe District) ๐ŸŒฎ
- Dazhong Alley Night Market (Chengguan District) ๐Ÿง
Day 2:
๐Ÿ“ Take a walk at Lanzhou Museum
๐Ÿ“ Zhongshan Bridge (next to Baita Mountain Park, Chengguan District)
The iron bridge is spectacular during the day ๐ŸŒ‰
๐Ÿ“ Waterwheel Expo Park (not highly recommended)
๐Ÿ“ Mother River Sculpture of the Yellow River (Nanbinhe Middle Road, Qilihe District)
Lanzhou landmark photo spot ๐Ÿ“ธ
๐Ÿ“ Sheepskin Rafting (near Waterwheel Expo Park)
Exciting and unique Yellow River experience ๐Ÿšฃ
๐Ÿ“ Baita Mountain Park (Beibinhe Middle Road, Chengguan District)
Climb to the top to see the First Pavilion of the Yellow River ๐Ÿฏ
๐Ÿ“ Lanshan for night views, the daytime view is great but it rained at night, so it was just okay

๐ŸŒง Day 2: Romantic city walk in the rain
๐Ÿž Morning market experience: Wuqian Old Street Morning Market (Chengguan District)
Only vegetables, no snacks ๐Ÿฅฌ
โ›ฐ Hike Lanshan Park:
From Ertaige to Santaige (too foggy to see anything ๐Ÿ˜ญ)
Recommended to come in the evening! The Lanzhou nightscape is stunning ๐ŸŒƒ
๐Ÿฏ Yellow River Tower (Nanbinhe East Road, Qilihe District)
A great spot for a high vantage point
๐Ÿฎ Lanzhou Old Street (Nanbinhe West Road, Qilihe District)
Ancient-style commercial street, nice night view
Finally got to see the Lanshan night view this time!

๐Ÿ– Day 3: Foodie finale
๐ŸŽ Visit Gansu Museum to see the Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow
โ˜• Have a cup of creative coffee and take a certification photo
๐ŸŒŠ Stroll in Wuqian Mountain Park (Wuqian South Road, Chengguan District)
End the trip with a cup of Sanpaotai tea by the Yellow River ๐Ÿฎ

๐Ÿ”ฅ Must-try food list:
๐Ÿ‘ Hand-pulled lamb/meat skewers/stomach-wrapped meat
๐Ÿœ Beef noodles (all-you-can-eat for 8 yuan!)
๐Ÿฅ› Milk fermented rice with egg (a night market must-buy)
๐Ÿน Fangha Sweet Fermented Milk Tea (Lanzhou exclusive)
๐ŸŒน Bitter water rose yogurt
Also gray beans, niangpi (cold skin noodles), shredded potato pancakes, hand-grabbed rice... you simply can't finish it all!

โš ๏ธ Tips:
1. Lanshan Park is recommended in the evening, so you can wait to see the night view.
You can also go to Santaige for a nice night view, about a 20-minute walk. Take a car down to Ertaige, and the driver will even let you get off at the Lanshan Archway for photos ๐Ÿ“ท
2. Bring a jacket! Itโ€™s windy by the Yellow River! The temperature difference in the mountains is also big!
3. Night markets are livelier after 7 PM. Personally prefer Zhengning Night Market and Dazhong Alley Night Market!
