I can tell you, this place is a paradise for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the sound of the water, mountain views, and breathtaking fresh air. The raft sits on the banks of the Mekong River, offering a truly peaceful atmosphere. The water flows gently, and you can see Thailand clearly across the river. It's like you're on a vacation in two countries at once. The accommodations are large wooden rafts, offering both single and dormitory rooms, perfect for couples and groups of friends. The rooms are simply decorated but clean, with soft beds, plenty of pillows, and fragrant blankets. There's also a fan, air conditioning, and a fully equipped private bathroom. Even though they're in the middle of the water, you don't feel cramped at all, thanks to the cool breeze all day long. Mornings are truly amazing! Waking up and opening the door to the mist floating above the water, accompanied by the sounds of birds and the gentle murmur of the water, is an indescribable feeling. In the evenings, the hosts prepare a table on the raft's balcony, serving traditional Lao dishes like Mekong fish salad, spicy soup, and grilled fish. The flavors are incredibly delicious, and the sunset is incredibly romantic. For those who enjoy activities, they offer boating, boat rides, and even fishing. Some have even been lucky enough to catch a big fish. The owner even cooked for us for free! Overall, I'd say it's worth every penny.
