First trip to Laos by train 🚂
We started our journey from Bangkok by taking train number 133 Bangkok-Vientiane at Krungthep Aphiwat Station. We sat all the way to Nong Khai Station. Then the officer will tell us to get off at the checkpoint to exit Thailand and get on the same train to continue to Vientiane Station (Khamsavad). We can take a bus to Vientiane or exchange money, buy a SIM card, all at this train station. However, if anyone comes on this train, they will not be able to immediately connect to the high-speed train. There will be no time, so we have to wait for the afternoon. But this time, we chose to rent a car with a driver to go straight to Vang Vieng. There is a motorway that takes about 2 hours from Vientiane. We can find food and eat at the accommodation comfortably. We also bought a kayak tour through the hotel that we booked with Trip. The price is good. There is a guide to serve. I am very impressed. Overall, this time it is convenient. You can travel abroad easily by taking the train across to see beautiful nature in another way. If anyone has never been to Laos, I recommend you to come to Vang Vieng and climb Pha Nam Sai. Very natural ⛰️🌄#100 ways to travel#natural attractions #trip
