A must-see for a leisurely stroll around Lake Geneva in Lausanne

The city where we stayed for three days and two nights wasn't Geneva or Montreux, but Lausanne. Located on the north shore of Lake Geneva, it's Switzerland's fourth-largest city and home to the International Olympic Committee, earning it the title of Olympic Capital.

Upon arrival, we had a quick dinner at our B&B and then walked about fifteen minutes to the delightful Lake Geneva. On the lake, a C-shaped art installation, the Eole Wind Vane Sculpture, stands as a famous landmark on the Lausanne pier.
