Super detailed 300-word travel guide for Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village✨
Dear friends, this guide is all you need for visiting Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village👇
📍Transportation
Take the high-speed train to Kaili South Station, then transfer to the scenic area shuttle bus or carpool to the village. If driving, just navigate directly to the scenic area parking lot.
🎫Tickets
Ticket prices vary by season, with differences between peak and off-peak times. Remember to check online in advance. The ticket includes 4 sightseeing bus rides, so don’t waste them.
📸Must-visit spots
Viewing Platform: The perfect spot to overlook the entire Miao Village. Don’t miss the morning mist and the nighttime light show. It’s recommended to visit twice, once early morning and once at night, for amazing photos!
Wind and Rain Bridge: The area near Bridge No. 5 is less commercialized and great for photos; Bridge No. 4 has layered stilt houses as a backdrop, each with its own charm.
Gage Ancient Alley: Experience Miao intangible cultural heritage, including silver jewelry forging, Miao embroidery, and batik. You can even try DIY activities yourself.
🍱Food
Sour soup fish is a must-try. The sour soup is fermented with tomatoes and rice soup, giving it a tangy and appetizing flavor. “Caotang Tea House” is recommended. The roadside stalls’ colorful glutinous rice with cured meat is also very fragrant, along with black-haired pork skewers, grilled tofu, and other snacks—just enjoy without hesitation.
🏠Accommodation
The area near the viewing platform offers great views but is more expensive; the mid-mountain area has better cost performance, with some rooms featuring scenic balconies. Booking in advance is more cost-effective.
Remember to wear comfortable shoes as the Miao Village has many stone paths and steps~ Hope everyone has a great time in the Miao Village 🥳
