[Xijiang, Zhenyuan] A Two-Day Guide to Guizhou's Ethnic Minority Villages

A two-day, one-night weekend trip to Guizhou Province from the provincial capital, Guiyang.
☑️ Take the high-speed rail from Guiyang North Station to Kaili South Station, then take a shared taxi to Xijang Qianhu Miao Village (approximately 2 hours total).
☑️ Xijang Qianhu Miao Village
This is the largest Miao village, built along the mountain slope. It is a famous gold and silver craftsman's village. Xijiang offers a glimpse into the authentic lifestyle and culture of the Miao people.
☑️ Take the bus to Kaili City from Kaili Station to Zhenyuan Station (approximately 3-4 hours). (Note: There are few trains from Kaili to Zhenyuan.)
　Take the direct bus to Zhenyuan Bus Terminal (approximately 3 hours).

During the Song Dynasty, this town was a bustling stop on the Southern Silk Road. With a history of approximately 600 years, it boasts many atmospheric buildings (siheyuan courtyards) in the style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and is one of China's top 10 beautiful ancient towns. ☑️ Head to Sanhui, the nearest high-speed rail station in Zhenyuan.
