Leshan Giant Buddha

Getting There - Take a high speed train from Chengdu to Leshan, about 1 hour. After getting off at Leshan, you can take a bus or taxi to the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area.
Attractions - Arrive at the East Gate to enter the park - the park is almost better than the Big Buddha. Tickets are ¥80 per person for the park and an additional ¥80 to enter the Big Buddha area, or ¥50 for a ferry - the ferry is a better option as the view is better. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk and climb some stairs! It is well worth it!
