The Potala Palace is located in the center of Lhasa and is a grand palace complex.
The main structure consists of three parts: the Red Palace in the center, connected to the White Palace on the east and the Zhasha on the west, all seamlessly integrated.
The exterior of the buildings is painted in red, white, and yellow, symbolizing majesty, tranquility, and perfection.
The White Palace is the living quarters of the Dalai Lama,
while the Zhasha serves as the residence for the monks who serve the Potala Palace.
Photography inside the Potala Palace is prohibited without permission,
so only the exterior walls can be photographed.
It is highly recommended to visit in person to experience the rich atmosphere.
