Life advice: If it's your first time in Lhasa, check out this 2-day travel guide

You have to go to Lhasa at least once.
This holy city, closest to the sky,
is a place of faith in the hearts of countless people.
With its snow-capped mountains, prayer flags, and chanting,
it weaves a pure spiritual world.
Only when you stand at the foot of the Potala Palace
will you understand what is meant by "a pilgrim's paradise."

📸Must-See Attractions for a 2-Day Tour of Lhasa
1️⃣ Potala Palace
The pearl of the roof of the world. Remember to bring a 50 RMB note to Yaowang Mountain to capture the same angle! The grandeur of the red palace and white walls can only be understood when seen with your own eyes.
2️⃣ Jokhang Temple
Jokhang Temple came before Lhasa City. Witness the devout prostration of the believers and feel the power of faith.
3️⃣ Barkhor Street
Follow the crowds turning their prayer wheels for three laps, drink sweet tea at "Makye Ame," and browse Tibetan handicrafts.
4️⃣ Yamdrok Lake
One of the three holy lakes of Tibet. The lake water is so blue, it's like God spilled a palette of paints. Rituo Temple is like a pearl in the heart of the lake.
5️⃣ Lujiangla Viewing Platform
At an altitude of 4,960m, enjoy a panoramic view of Yamdrok Lake. The clouds seem within reach 🍵 Tibetan Food List
6⃣ Yaowang Mountain Viewing Platform
A classic spot. The light is best in the early morning or evening. The golden sunlight shines on the Potala Palace, making every shot a masterpiece.
7⃣ Rituo Temple
This temple, at an altitude of 4,500m, stands alone in the blue waters of Yamdrok Lake, surrounded by water on three sides, connected to the land by only a small road, and is known as the "Lonely Temple on the Lake."

When I think back to this plateau, the morning light of Lhasa flows over the golden roof of the Potala Palace. This is the holy city closest to paradise. Just yesterday, I was playing in Emei and then participated in the 2025 Sichuan Travel Expo, where I was invited by the Tibet Tourism Bureau to learn about Tibetan tourism culture. At the exhibition, I was deeply moved by the snow-capped mountains and cultural creations. The Tibetan exhibition area attracted many tourists with its Thangkas, Tibetan incense, and yak wool! I also tried on a Tibetan robe and learned the phrase "Tashi Delek"~ A young man from Tibet Tourism said, "The sunshine in Lhasa can shine into your heart." Sure enough, you only understand when you come!

⚠️Important Tips:
✔️Book Potala Palace tickets 7 days in advance! Bring your ID card for security check.
✔️Don't wash your hair or shower on the first day to adapt to the high-altitude environment.
✔️No short skirts or shorts are allowed in temples, and prayer wheels should be turned clockwise.
✔️Yamdrok Lake is windy with large temperature differences, so a down jacket and sunglasses are essential.

At this moment, I finally understand
why some people say
Tibet is not in Lhasa
Tibet is on the road
Tibet is in everyone's heart
