October Gamble at Bipenggou Paid Off!

Hurry up and enjoy the autumn feast these days! It's absolutely a treat for the eyes.

About photos:
1. Moon Lake is indeed the most photogenic spot. You can also pick a few red leaves at the beginning as props.
2. You don't necessarily have to take photos in crowded areas; sometimes small corners can produce stunning shots.
3. Go for big movements in your poses; this place is perfect for dynamic shots.
4. Bring more tissues. When taking photos sitting on the ground, lay down a couple of sheets to avoid getting your pants wet. Sitting on the ground gives a great sense of freedom in photos!

About timing:
Enter the valley at 10 AM and leave by 4 PM. Six hours, including eating and sightseeing, is just right. (But I think going earlier might be better because you might catch some snow in the morning, which melts by noon, offering a different view of Bipenggou.)

About the electric shuttle:
If you're not hiking, consider buying round-trip tickets for both segments (30 per segment, 60 per person for both). Otherwise, wearing boots might be really tiring, especially for women.

About the weather:
Even if the forecast says cloudy, once you reach Pan Yang Lake, it could be sunny. Also, the temperature difference between day and night is significant. It's very warm during the day (either wear more on the upper body or the lower body; I chose fleece pants for the lower body because wearing too much on the upper body can make you look bulky in photos). After 5 PM, it suddenly gets very cold, so you'll need a down jacket or a thick windbreaker.

About altitude sickness:
Both of us experienced mild altitude sickness. We used two large oxygen cans. Symptoms included dizziness, shortness of breath, and a racing heart. The oxygen cans were effective. If you feel unwell, sit down, take a few breaths of oxygen, and rest for ten minutes—it helps a lot.

About outfits:
Highly recommend brown or white tones with a touch of red accessories. Everyone dressed like this looked amazing and photogenic! (Make sure to wear a hat—it looks great in photos and helps prevent altitude sickness.)
