The recently popular 'Rio de Janeiro' is located in Lianjiang, Fuzhou, specifically at Qiguan Peak in Qida Village. There are many fun attractions around, most of which are free, making it perfect for a budget weekend trip or a special forces-style tour for college students. 👍
1⃣️ Qida Village - Qiguan Peak ⛰️
The domestic version of 'Rio de Janeiro' offers stunning views from the top, worth a visit to overlook the entire fishing village.
Route👇🏻👇🏻
1. Set your GPS to Qiguan Peak in Qida Village, start climbing from the base, and take the famous 1800 steps, which takes about 40 minutes.
2. Set your GPS to Baiyun Temple, start climbing from halfway up the mountain, which takes about 25 minutes.
2⃣️ Pingliu Tail Geological Park
Ticket 🎫: 30 RMB/person
Time ⌚️: 9:00-17:00
The sea here 🌊 is really blue, but you need to choose a good weather day to visit. It looks even better in sunny weather ☀️ for photos!
3⃣️ Beijiao Nose Geological Park
Ticket: Free
Come here to find the boardwalk leading to the sea. The long boardwalk has a great atmosphere and is also a free attraction.
4⃣️ Dinghai Bay 🌊
Known as the 'most beautiful bay in Fuzhou', it is one of the famous 'Three Bays' in Lianjiang. It has a variety of facilities, making it very suitable for bringing children to play. 👭
Ticket 🎫: Free
Lianjiang Accommodation 🏨
I chose the Ruolin Hotel in Dinghai Bay, a 1⃣️-line sea view room with affordable prices. It has a restaurant combining Fujian and Guangdong cuisine 🍴, and it is only about 20 minutes away from Qiguan Peak. It is very convenient for eating, lodging, and transportation. 👍 The beach is just downstairs, and you can see the sea sunset 🌄 from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room without going out.
