Family Beach Getaway: 3-Day 2-Night Lianyungang Guide

Family Beach Trip❗️3️⃣-Day 2️⃣-Night Lianyungang Guide👀|||Spent three days and two nights in Lianyungang with kids～
Previously shared a condensed 2-day 1-night itinerary～
This one covers a more in-depth 3-day 2-night plan～

DAY1️⃣
Start in downtown Lianyungang: Visit the museum or Huaguoshan Mountain. If it's rained recently, head to Yuwan for water fun. Stroll Yanhexiang Pedestrian Street at night and grab a drink at Zuoxinfang. Kids can also enjoy the hotel pool.

Day2️⃣: Full-day trip to Liandao Island

Dedicate a whole day to Liandao—it completely changed my perception of Lianyungang's seawater! Visit Suma Bay in the morning, then walk the coastal boardwalk if time allows (scenic! 😝). Head to Dashawan Bay in the late afternoon during low tide—it's extra fun! Pro tip: Check the peacock show schedule at Liandao's Peacock Garden if interested. Stay overnight near Liandao or Haiyifang Park (these spots are close).

Day3️⃣: Free seaside fun at Haiyifang Park (check tide tables!) before heading home.

Transport🚅: Summer train tickets sell fast. Lianyungang has two stations: Lianyungang East (near Liandao) and Lianyungang Station (downtown). Driving is more convenient.

🏨 Accommodations: Stay downtown Day 1 for nearby attractions; Day 2 near Haiyifang for beach access.

We stayed at the Sofitel Suning's family room🏨—prime downtown location above Suning Plaza with kid-friendly dining/shopping. Forgot something? Easy to replace! 😭 Next to BRT stops with direct buses to Haiyifang/Liandao. Just 10min taxi from Lianyungang Station and close to Huaguoshan—super convenient for transit/attractions🚄. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase city views! Never fails my hotel picks😝.

Honestly, Lianyungang's seawater isn't as blue as Weihai's, but still great for kids. Ten years ago I found it murky, but this trip with my child surprised me! Visit Liandao on a sunny day—it's transformative!
