Bring the kids to enjoy panoramic views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain! I'm obsessed with this family-friendly hotel.

Who says taking kids to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is exhausting? I found a fantastic hotel where you can relax and gaze at 13 snow-capped mountains while your kids run wild. A 3-day, 2-night stay is incredibly hassle-free, and includes a nanny-level travel photography guide. 👇

🏨The right hotel = half the effort! Shanjuanyun·Tian is so family-friendly.

This mountain-view hotel near Baisha Ancient Town is a real winner:

- From the room window, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. No need to crowd the observation deck for morning photos of the sunrise over Golden Mountain. You can take photos in your pajamas.

- A dedicated family play area allows parents to relax in the adjacent café while their kids play (the hotel's dirtiness paired with the snow-capped mountain views is incredible!)
- Children's breakfast is provided (please inform the front desk in advance about allergies), and there are children's books in the second-floor cafe.
- For stays of two consecutive nights, you can choose to be picked up from the airport or the station once, and refreshments are provided upon check-in.

📸 Family Travel Photography Itinerary: Effortless Photography Without Rushing

Day 1: Relaxing in the Hotel for Stunning Photography

Morning: Taking the kids to the sunflower fields at the hotel. Dressed in light-colored outfits (I chose a beige sweater), I captured them catching crickets and grasshoppers and playing with bubbles with their dad.

Afternoon: On the second-floor terrace, I let the kids swing in their dad's arms. The photographer shot the photo from the side, with the snow-capped mountains right behind them. The original photo went viral.

Day 2: Light Hike + Baisha Ancient Town

Morning: We went to the hotel's recommended trail behind Baisha Ancient Town. It's a low-level hike, lasting one hour. Along the way, there are small wildflowers and wooden fences. Let the kids pick up pine cones as props for some natural photos.

Afternoon: Visit the Dongba culture in Baisha Ancient Town and learn about Naxi culture.

Day 3: Morning photoshoot + return trip.

7:00 AM: Take photos of the sunrise over the Golden Mountain from the hotel rooftop. Wrap the kids in a red poncho. The photoshoot with the snow-capped mountains is so atmospheric. Afterward, we went straight back to the room for breakfast, eliminating the need to wake up early to catch up on our schedule.

🎒 Essential Baby Checklist (My Tried-and-Treat Experience!)

- Clothing: Windproof jacket (the temperature difference between morning and evening is significant in the snow-capped mountains), bright-colored family outfits (for more stunning photos), non-slip sneakers (for hiking).
- Supplies: Sunscreen (Yunnan's UV rays are strong), sunglasses (to protect baby's eyes and double as props for photos), small snacks (for when baby is hungry).
- Other: Folding stroller (the hotel has storage), small toys (to keep baby's attention while taking photos).

Traveling with children doesn't require a focus on hitting countless attractions. Staying in a comfortable hotel like this, taking your time to take photos and have fun, is the true meaning of family travel. I'd love to bring my kids back to this hotel again next time; watching the snow-capped mountains fall in winter is definitely even more amazing!
