InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town

#yunnanspots The hotel did not meet our expectations.
It was a beautiful hotel with excellent location, but the hospitality was lacking.

- it was a beautiful hotel with nice rooms and buildings.
- The house keeping staff was nice and attentive

- One of our rooms smelled of smoke and despite notifying the front desk twice, no attempts to fix the issues.
- We had booked 2 suites with lounge access, the lounge was lacking in clean glasses, cutlery and service.
- The lounge was always lacking of drink options.
- The lounge lacked clean tables
- There is a smoking room in the lounge making it smell strongly of smoke sometimes
- When checked out we checked numerous times with the front desk to make sure they had all charges, however we got contacted the day after with an extra charge of 1300 Yuan.
