Linfen|Don’t miss the “Yuxu Palace” and “Little Potala Palace”.

Tianshou Mountain is located in the northwest corner of Linfen City. It is commonly known as "Nan Laoye Peak" or "Tianshou Mountain", which means "anyone who climbs this mountain can increase their fortune and longevity."
Echoing the Beilaoyeding in Hongdong, it is 1,080 meters above sea level and is the highest mountain in Yaodu District. In 1695, a major earthquake struck Pingyang and completely destroyed the temple. After the Japanese army captured Laoyeding in 1939, they set fire to the temple, destroying hundreds of halls. In recent years, restoration of cultural relics has been carried out one after another.
Tianshou Mountain integrates the cultures of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and its main hall is called Shizun Temple. The World Honored One Courtyard is located from west to east. Entering from the mountain gate, there are four courtyards including the Bell Tower Courtyard, Xuanji Palace (Zhenwu Hall), Patriarch Hall and Yushu Palace. It is 100 meters long and about 30 meters wide. There are buildings built on the brick kilns in the north and south. The corridors are connected to the front and back yards, so pilgrims and tourists can go around the various halls.
The mountain gate is on a slope and has 110 steps. There are stone pillars and stone railings on both sides, with animals, flowers and birds carved on the boards.
Xuanji Palace is the Zhenwu Hall, which is built with stone and bricks, 17 meters high, with a hip roof covered with glazed tiles and colored glazed ridge decorations, making it look majestic and ancient. The seated statue of Zhenwu in the hall is 2.5 meters high, and the ten accompanying statues have different expressions.
There are also Niangniang Temple, Xuanji Palace, Sanqing Temple and Holy Mother Hall, which enshrine Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and other immortals. There is a temple fair here every March 3rd.
