Chuxiong, a pleasant surprise from a detour

Expected to take 4.5 hours from Kunming to Dali, it turned out to be 2 hours of driving with another 4.5 hours to go...
So as the traffic around Erhai Lake got worse, I chose Chuxiong on the way

Pure blue skies and white clouds need no filter
Even the traffic lights are shaped like hearts
The simple locals, I can't understand their speech, but they patiently repeat for me, so now I've added +1 to the small languages I know
Most of the stall owners are very enthusiastic, inviting tourists to taste the fruits and food, and I usually buy after tasting, so I don't taste what I don't want to buy
There are many fruits, some I recognize and many I've never seen before. There's also a lot of barbecue, I randomly chose one, and the meat quality is very good
I've been to many cities, many ancient towns
I just love this kind of casual feeling

Taste local specialties we've never tasted
