Come to Lingshui for a mountain-and-sea rendezvous! Here, you'll find not only sunny beaches but also thrilling cliff descents and mountain hikes, making it a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts🏞️
🚶♂️Recommended Itinerary:
【First-Time Cliff Descent】
📍 Location: Lingshui
The cliff descent site is about 40 meters high—challenging yet safe! It's best experienced in the morning when the sunlight is abundant. Wear anti-slip sports shoes, and professional instructors are on-site to guide beginners.
【Hiking & Trekking Routes】
1️⃣ Qixian Ridge
The hike takes about 3 hours in total. The first half is a gentle stone-paved path, while the second half involves climbing cliffs. The summit offers a panoramic view of Lingshui Bay—don’t forget to bring plenty of water.
2️⃣ Diaoluo Mountain National Forest Park
Take the primitive rainforest boardwalk for a 2.5-hour round trip, where you can spot rare plants like tree ferns and wild orchids.
⚠️ Practical Tips:
1. For cliff descents, choose a certified club and book at least 2 days in advance.
2. Recommended hiking gear: quick-dry clothing + sun-protective outerwear + trekking poles.
3. The best season to visit is from March to May—avoid typhoon season.
4. Tourist shuttle buses run from the county town to major attractions, but private transport is more convenient.
Recommended Cliff Descent Spots
Located in southeastern Hainan Island, Lingshui boasts tropical rainforests and coastal cliffs, making it ideal for cliff descents. Potential sites include:
- **Diaoluo Mountain National Forest Park**: High forest coverage with cliffs and waterfalls suitable for advanced adventurers.
- **Around Boundary Island**: Coastal cliffs offer ocean views, but check tides and rock stability.
- **Wild beaches near Clearwater Bay/Tufu Bay**: Non-touristy coastlines may have suitable cliffs—local guides are recommended.
Best Season & Time
- **Dry season (November–April)**: Less rain, dry rock surfaces, and higher safety.
- **Avoid midday**: Due to strong sunlight, early morning or late afternoon is best to prevent heatstroke.
