Visiting an Influencer's Home in Sanya

Squeezed some time out of my packed schedule and finally stole a few days to escape to Sanya. As the plane broke through the clouds, coconut groves and azure seas unfolded outside the window—amid my hectic days, this sudden splash of blue felt like an ice-cold soda handed to me, chilling me straight to the core.

My destination was the Kimpton in Qingshui Bay. From afar, I spotted two rows of white buildings nestled among coconut trees, their glass facades reflecting drifting clouds. The breeze carried the salty-sweet scent of coconuts, sparking a giddy excitement, as if I were visiting a friend's home.

Stepping inside, the lobby greeted me with casually elegant greenery in artful pots, black geometric screens, a marble coffee table with wave-like veins, and exquisite floral arrangements and art books on the sideboard—reminiscent of the Instagram aesthetic of A quick snapshot effortlessly exuded that coveted "effortless chic."

The room felt even more thoughtful. The furniture was refreshingly minimalist, down to the custom yoga mat—as if the host had anticipated my lack of exercise and prepared it just for me. Sitting on the carpet, facing the sea, I felt lazier than in my own home.

Evening Happy Hour was like joining a cozy gathering. I met fellow travelers, chatting about work and life over drinks that grew sweeter with laughter.

I especially loved the hotel’s first-floor multifunctional lounge, with areas for chess ♟️, movie screenings, and board games—perfect for unwinding or playful interactions. Whether solo or with friends, it was pure bliss.

By the entrance, a spiral staircase stood, as my friend quipped, "serving no purpose but beauty."

At night, the pool glowed under soft lights. Sipping a cocktail by the water, the breeze made me pause: This wasn’t just a hotel stay—it felt like being hosted by a friend who truly knows how to live. These stolen days? Worth every second.
