A Family Weekend Getaway by Linhai's Ancient City Wall

We found a perfect weekend getaway for the family under the ancient city wall of Linhai.
Who says traveling with kids has to be a battle? This time, at "Sanfu Yizhai" on Ziyang Street in Linhai, our family truly experienced the charm of "slow living." We booked their standalone family villa, and the moment we opened the courtyard door, our hearts melted! The most unique "neighbor": the thousand-year-old ancient city wall!

Our room was right next to Linhai's Ming Great Wall, with its weathered and sturdy bricks forming a natural courtyard wall. In the morning, opening the window felt like touching the warmth of history with our fingertips. The kids curiously touched the wall, as if having a conversation with the ancients.

A whole graffiti wall, with colorful chalk still in their little hands, became a canvas for their boundless creativity.

Second-floor living room: Our cozy family "nest"
After playing, we headed upstairs, where a large projector turned the living room into a private cinema! Wrapped in blankets, the whole family snuggled on the soft sofa bed, watching a favorite cartoon or movie. The sofa could also be unfolded into a larger bed, making it super safe for the kids to roll around.

Thoughtful details in the room:
The wooden furniture exuded a warm glow, and sunlight streaming through the vintage window frames painted gentle shadows on the walls. The host had thoughtfully prepared local Linhai snacks, which warmed our hearts.

The location is unbeatable! Right in the heart of Ziyang Street!
Step outside to find fragrant sticky rice treats and fascinating heritage shops. The hustle and bustle belonged to others. When we had enough fun, we could retreat to our quiet and private little home by the city wall, seamlessly switching between lively and serene.
