
Nanchang Folk Museum, founded in 1988 , is the only professional folk museum in Jiangxi Province. It features exhibitions on Nanchang folk customs, Jiangxi embroidery crafts, and Jiangxi folk paper-cutting.
The museum has opened the Nanchang Folk Customs Exhibition, the Jiangxi Embroidery Crafts Exhibition, and the Jiangxi Folk Paper-Cutting Exhibition. With its colorful pictures and real objects, it introduces the folk customs and old city style of Nanchang in detail, allowing tourists to taste the pure rural feelings and the full flavor of Jiangxi in a limited time and space.
The exhibition of Nanchang folk customs is presented through eight major topics, including " Nanchang Ancient City Style ", " Nanchang Customs ", " Nanchang Wedding Customs", and " Nanchang Life Etiquette " , which clearly reflects the characteristics of the Jiangnan fishing and farming culture of " rice and fish soup " .
