Courtyard-style private hot spring, perfect for dates, paired with floating afternoon tea, overlooking the green wilderness, every snapshot looks like an Instagram-worthy photo, enjoying a refined slow life!
Donglu Garden Hotel Mountain and Water Residence
A designer guesthouse at the foot of the Taihang Mountains, as if you are in a Su-style garden
Stayed and ate at this hotel for two days, the experience was quite good
The park has a café and Chinese and Western restaurants, private rooms, and a barbecue buffet
The back of the park has a rustic and elegant style, with a lake and pavilions, both beautiful and cozy
It is said that the stones in the park were all moved down from the Taihang Mountains
The owner really put a lot of heart into it—salute to designer Teacher Baozhen
On the second day, I planned to enjoy the hotel properly, but unfortunately, after drinking the night before, I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t take many photos. I’ll come back next time for a deeper experience
The balcony of the room offers a mountain view right when you look up
There happened to be a company team-building event here, making it a really good choice
The stir-fried dishes and barbecue were quite delicious; Qiangguo noodles are a must-try (local specialty)
Sunday: Got up and went to the hotel for breakfast, served from 7 to 9 am, with a good variety. After eating, drove with Tianbao to Shibanyan to play in the water! Brought our own water guns, small buckets, and little fishing nets since the water guns sold at the scenic spot were too expensive. Also took a half-hour boat ride with the kids. The water play experience was fantastic. If you have time, you can also visit Gaojiatai, which is full of sketching spots and artistic architecture. After playing until noon, returned to the hotel for lunch, then took a nap before heading home to prepare for Monday work.
