Panoramic view of the red roofs and the river 🌆 Senhora do Monte Observatory

The Miradouro do Senhora do Monte is located at the top of a hill in Lisbon.
From here, you can see the city's red rooftops, the Tagus River, and even the 25th of April Bridge. It truly is a condensed view of Lisbon. ✨

The route to the observation deck involves narrow, cobblestone streets and staircases. The journey is a bit challenging, but it's all the more rewarding as you get a feel for the local townscape and discover new things.

It's relatively quiet among the tourist areas, and the benches are a great way to relax. It was impressive to see locals relaxing and enjoying the view or listening to music.

The Alfama district and São Jorge Castle are also nearby, making it a perfect stop off during your Lisbon sightseeing trip. It's especially beautiful in the evening, when the city is bathed in orange.
