Kirifuri Highlands, which spreads across Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, is a tourist spot that is attractive for its rich nature and spectacular views throughout the seasons.

In particular, you can enjoy the fresh air and magnificent views at Kisuge-daira Park!

If you are traveling by bus, take the Tobu bus bound for "Kirifuri Highlands" from JR Nikko Station or Tobu Nikko Station for about 30 minutes.
If you are traveling by car, take National Route 119 from Nikko IC and Prefectural Route 169 towards Kisuge-daira Park for about 25 minutes.
However, there are not many buses, so be sure to check the timetable in advance.
Please note that in winter, buses do not run all the way to "Kirifuri Highlands" and only go as far as "Kirifuri Falls".

The most attractive feature of Kirifuri Highlands is the spectacular view from the observation deck at the top of the "Sky Corridor" at Kisuge-daira.

The magnificent panorama from the observation deck at the top of the 240m elevation difference and 1,445 steps starting from Kirifuri Kogen Rest House is a must-see.

We recommend going early in the morning and seeing the spectacular view at sunrise!
