One hundred million people in Xinjiang, but I am enjoying a wild summer at 22°C in Liuba!

Liuba is a small county town deep in the Qinling Mountains, located in the northern part of Hanzhong. Although it rained during this trip, it was quiet with few people. The mountaintop was shrouded in mist like a fairyland, the streams were clear and transparent, cattle and horses leisurely strolled on the pastures, and the pine forest canyon resembled the Forbidden Forest from Harry Potter. Some places really feel like a substitute for Hemu~

🚌 Distance: 300km from Xi'an city, 100km from Hanzhong, 160km from Baoji

🚗 Transportation: Public transportation is inconvenient, there are no shuttles between attractions, suitable for self-driving

🏠 Accommodation: It is recommended to stay in resort-style homestays near the scenic spots, which offer food, accommodation, and entertainment, making it more worry-free. The downside is that the prices are generally high, averaging over 400 yuan per person. This time we stayed at a cost-effective homestay called 'Five Rooms Overlooking the Mountain,' averaging over 200 yuan per person. It is located along the most beautiful road in Yuhuangmiao Town, close to the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, and there are also places nearby for picking.

🌳 Slow 3-day tour route:
D1: Liuba County Town - Most Beautiful Rural Road - Thousand-Year Ginkgo
The county town feels slightly commercialized, but the wooden barrel fish nearby is delicious!
The towering metasequoia, ginkgo, and black locust trees on both sides of the road make the world feel quiet as you drive through, and there are small streams along the way where you can play in the water.
Standing under the thousand-year-old ginkgo makes people feel small, and the ancient tree must be beautiful when it turns yellow in autumn~
D2: Lover's Valley - Shizigou Pasture
Lover's Valley can be toured in half an hour, crossing the suspension bridge and following the winding wooden path, with tall larches neatly arranged on both sides, taking in a deep breath of oxygen!
The pasture is open for free, where you can ride horses, camp (bring your own equipment), and it's a paradise for relaxation.
D3: Zhangliang Temple - Zibai Mountain National Forest Park
Inside Zhangliang Temple, there is a stele inscribed by Mi Fu for Zibai Mountain, titled 'First Mountain,' and a serene bamboo forest. The 50 yuan ticket is indeed worth it.
We didn't go to Zibai Mountain because of the rain, but it is said that the scenery at the top is beautiful, and there is a cable car.
