#summervacay This spot right here? Total hidden gem. Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chörten in Punakha District isn’t just a cool name, it’s a mini adventure with a serious view payoff. You’ve gotta hike through rice fields and up a little hill to get there, but the trail is super chill and super scenic. Think green fields, butterflies, and random cows just vibing.
Once you reach the chörten (that’s a fancy word for stupa), it’s like… wow. The structure is super detailed, colorful, and just sitting there on top of the hill like a peaceful boss. Climb all the way to the rooftop and, 360° views of the valley and the river below. Total postcard moment.
It’s not tourist-packed either, so you can just breathe in the fresh air and soak in the peaceful energy. Plus, the walk back down is just as pretty. Honestly, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, smile, and be like, “Dang, Bhutan really knows how to do serenity right.”
