Before traveling to Yelang Valley, I always thought it was a foreign attraction

Later, after learning about the story of the artist Song Peilun, I came to know this fascinating scenic spot. He had a deep love for the ancient Yelang Kingdom and spent twenty years turning his dream into a tangible reality.

🌟Huaxi Yelang Valley is the most impressive spot of my trip to Guizhou. Hundreds of stone pillar statues, each made of stacked stones, have different expressions—some are laughing, some angry, some eerie, and some terrified. Some of the stone carvings are even covered with weeds and moss, standing silently and quietly guarding this paradise-like pure land.

🌡Even in midsummer, the temperature in Guizhou is only around twenty degrees. As I strolled through Yelang Valley, I felt an unreal sensation as if I were in the ancient Yelang Kingdom, immersed in the coolness that swept over me.
