A Hidden Gem at the Albert Docks

We discovered this museum on the far side of Albert Docks as a way to escape the rain and pass time before our coach arrived. It turned out to be quite a valuable experience. I definitely recommend visiting this museum. It's highly informative, packed with exhibits, and steeped in history. There are activities designed for kids too. The museum is spread across three floors, with an educational section included. If you're able, you can tackle the 84 steps, or simply use the lifts. Lockers are available as well. The museum provides lovely views of the Mersey and the town. There is plenty to learn in this museum. Entry is free, though donations are welcome. Additionally, a café offers a selection of hot dishes, cakes, beverages, and alcoholic drinks—all priced reasonably. The staff are delightful and friendly.
