The Anhui Celebrity Museum, located in the Shushan Scenic Area in the western suburbs of Hefei, is China's first exhibition hall dedicated to local celebrities, the largest holographic multimedia exhibition hall, and the only high-tech acoustic and optoelectronic exhibition hall in the country. The first phase of the Anhui Celebrity Museum showcases 50 influential Anhui historical figures from prehistoric times to the Qing Dynasty .
The figures are made of lifelike wax figures, and the exhibition uses film techniques and the latest high-tech means such as sound, light, electricity, and multimedia to show the style and major deeds of celebrities. The main exhibits include the large-scale " History of Anhui Civilization " series, covering 2,400 square meters.
