Liyang Nanshan Bamboo Sea Transportation, Tickets, and Photography Guide with Map

🚌 Transportation
Take the high-speed train from Hangzhou to Liyang Station. There is a direct bus (Route 73) from Liyang Station to Nanshan Bamboo Sea, running roughly from 8:40 AM to 3:50 PM, with one bus every hour. The fare is about 1 or 2 yuan, and the trip takes around 30 to 40 minutes. Very convenient.
🎫 Tickets
Adult tickets are 90 yuan (various platforms offer discounts, so you can compare). You can buy a package ticket that includes admission, a one-way small train ride, and a round-trip cable car ride, which feels more cost-effective.
👣 Route
After entering the scenic area, take the small train directly to the cable car station.
Then transfer to the cable car 🚠 to visit the Panda 🐼 Pavilion and Bamboo Culture Park.
After touring, take the cable car back down and follow the Little Bird Paradise trail all the way down.
The whole trip takes about 2-3 hours, with not much walking, making it quite relaxing and covering all the main spots.
📸 Photography
The pandas are really adorable. On a nice day, several are outside, and I watched them for a long time.
The bamboo forest is beautiful and photogenic everywhere! For portraits, wearing brighter colors works well.
You can take photos at the cable car stations, but don’t block others getting on or off, and be mindful of safety.
🍃 I really like this attraction, especially the last stretch of the walking trail on the way down, which is almost empty and very comfortable with the breeze.

(That’s all! There may be updates, so it’s recommended to double-check before you go.)
(It’s best to visit on weekdays when there are fewer people!)
