Pure Sharing|Liyang Staycation Living in the Forest

Liyang, this small town, is truly a hidden treasure in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area✨! This time I stayed in a sunny cabin hidden in the forest and was completely healed—the Yangwan Light Forest Tribe Homestay is perfect for a weekend escape from the city!

🏡 Homestay Highlights:
Hidden in the mountains and forests of Taozhuang Village, Zhuzhe Town (just search "Liyang Light Yangwan Forest Tribe Homestay" for navigation), it’s only a 2-hour drive from Suzhou! The exclusive parking lot is super friendly for self-driving travelers. The entire homestay feels like it’s cradled by the forest, with floor-to-ceiling windows in every room, naturally waking you up in the morning with sunlight and birdsong🌿

🌲 Nearby Activities:
A 10-minute walk takes you to the popular check-in spot "Heart of the Goddess," where the heart-shaped tea garden paired with a white piano is incredibly photogenic! A 15-minute drive brings you to Wawu Mountain, where the Goddess Lake at the foot of the mountain is as blue as a gem, and we even caught a stunning sunset🌄

🍽️ Foodie Guide:
I have to praise the homestay’s kitchen! I was worried there wouldn’t be good food in the mountains, but for dinner, we had the local specialty Tianmu Lake fish head soup and black rice, and the Chinese-style breakfast was very filling. The housekeeper said a local auntie was cooking~(secretly, it’s much better than the restaurants in scenic spots)

💡 My Real Experience:
1. I recommend choosing a room with a balcony; sitting outside drinking tea in the evening is super healing
2. The temperature difference in the forest is big between morning and night, so remember to bring a light jacket
3. The homestay has a projector and Bluetooth speakers, making it super enjoyable to watch movies while cozy at night
4. The bathroom is equipped with high-end toiletries, which is a nice detail

I didn’t expect to find such a feeling of "long trapped in a cage, finally returning to nature" so close to the city. Doing yoga in the forest in the early morning, watching the sunset on the terrace in the evening, even the phone signal becomes faint and elusive—this is what a vacation should be like🌿
