I used to watch Youn's Kitchen and saw the Gili Islands in Indonesia, and I knew I had to visit them.
When planning a diving trip to Bali, Indonesia, during the Chinese National Day holiday, I included the Gili Islands, which are accessible by boat from Bali!
Gili Trawangan is about an hour and a half away from Bali by high-speed ferry.
It's a small island that you can cycle around in about an hour.
There's also a Korean dive shop called Sunshine Dive with cheerful instructors.

You can dive from morning until noon, and then, at sunset, rent a bike from the hotel and ride west to see the beautiful sunset. In the evening, I stopped by a beach restaurant and enjoyed some leisurely food and drinks by the sea, enjoying some alone time. 🥲

I'd heard about this place on the show "Youn's Kitchen," so I wanted to visit.

I finally made it by bike, riding along the sandy beach.

(It was in a really remote, deserted area.)

The restaurant, which used to be a Korean restaurant, closed three days before my visit. 🤣
I understand it's been taken over by someone else since then.

I'm curious to see how things are going after COVID.

Next time, I want to visit Bali again, not alone, but with friends!
