Tower of London

#uktrip This should have been higher on my list! If you enjoy history and taking your time, this was an incredible experience. I don’t do any tour, I just had a map and explored myself.
I went solely for the Crown Jewels which was the highlight, but I was surprised at how much history there was to explore. It has a great view of tower bridge as well!
I went on a Saturday at 1pm and was able to get a ticket straight away. It was crowded, but not overwhelming. I recommend doing it first thing in the morning!
