[Review of Visiting the National Gallery in London]
I recently visited the National Gallery in London!
In a word, it was a day when I lost track of time and fell in love with paintings.
The location is right next to Trafalgar Square, so it was very accessible, and most importantly, admission is free! (You can make a donation freely)
The most impressive paintings were **Van Gogh's 'Sunflowers'** and Monet's Water Lilies series.
When I saw them in person, they were on a different level than when I saw them on the screen...
Just standing in front of the paintings made my heart feel warm.
The exhibition was well organized, so I was able to view them step by step by period and artist,
and the explanations were written in detail, so even people who don't know much about art can enjoy them!
The cafe and gift shop were also good
It was also fun to buy cute postcards and magnets
If you need art and healing for a day, I recommend the National Gallery
If you go to London, this is a place you absolutely must include in your itinerary!!
[Overall]
Number of works: ★★★★★
Exhibition composition: ★★★★★
Admission cost-effectiveness: ★★★★★
Impression index: ★★★★★
Next time, I want to try the audio guide too!
It was a day full of lingering emotions #England #London #NationalGallery
