Longnan Wushiwei | Authentic Walled Village.

| Authentic Walled Village. 📍Wushiwei, Longnan, Ganzhou (60–70 km from Longnan downtown)

Wushiwei is said to be the earliest Hakka walled village.
It is named "Wushi" because of a large stone standing at its entrance.

Compared with the more famous and commercialized Yanyiwei nearby,
Wushiwei is more like a "hidden gem."
- From Ganzhou to Longnan, and then from Longnan to Wushiwei, you have to go step by step. It is only accessible by car. To be honest, I had never heard of Longnan before I came here.
- It is hard to find, as it is located deep in the village. I drove here during the National Day holiday, and the villagers were building houses, so I had to take a detour and go past a nearby school.
- There are very few tourists. Even during the National Day holiday, there was no one in Wushiwei, so I could enjoy the walled village all to myself.

However, Wushiwei is my favorite walled village in Longnan.
Perhaps it is because there are fewer tourists and it is less commercialized,
so you can experience the authentic walled village.

🚘🚘Transportation: It is so remote that you can only drive there.

🌅🌅Longnan Walled Village Tour (one day is enough, from north to south, you can adjust the order according to your direction):
Guanxiwei near Longnan downtown (remember to buy tickets one day in advance)
↔️Yanyiwei, Wushiwei, and Taiping Bridge in Yangcun

🥘🥘Dining: There is a chain restaurant called "Amuyuan" in Longnan downtown, which is also available in Ganzhou. The food is good and you can't go wrong.
I personally feel that there is not much to eat in Yangcun, mostly farmhouse dishes.
