“Phu Sap Lek” is a sunset viewing point in Lopburi, which is known as the Patagonia of Thailand. You can see the view of Khao Chin Lae and the Sap Lek reservoir. The path to the top of Phu Sap Lek is not very far, about 300 meters. The path is made of steps with bamboo railings to hold on to. The slope is not too steep, so it is easy for amateur hikers to walk. There are rocks to sit and rest at intervals. The wind is cool and comfortable up there. There is also a camping area up there. If you come in the evening, the sunset is very beautiful.
Tips
-Open every day, no entrance fee
-Free parking
-Walking sticks are provided for free
-Recommend wearing sneakers
-No water for sale up there, buy some and bring them
-The bathroom is downstairs, 5 baht fee
-Don’t forget to bring your trash down after you bring it
-For those who want to watch the sunset, it is recommended to bring a flashlight. It will be very dark when you go down. Follow the reflective sheet attached to the tree.
