The Getty Center houses a collection of Western art from the Middle Ages to the modern era, attracting approximately 1.8 million visitors each year and is one of the most popular museums in the United States.
🚗Self-driving:
• Some GPS directions may be inaccurate
• Navigation address: N Sepulveda Blvd & Getty Center Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90049
• The only public entrance is at the intersection of Getty Center Drive and Sepulveda Blvd.
🚌Take Metro:
• Friends living in the west/Downtown can take Metro Rapid 761 (runs daily) and get off at Sepulveda/Getty Center station.
⏰Opening hours:
• Monday: Closed
• Tuesday to Friday, Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Closed on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
💰Charge information:
• Admission is free, but time slot tickets must be booked online in advance
• Parking fee for self-drive vehicles: $25 ($15 after 3pm; $10 after 6pm)
🚡 Cable car information:
After parking, you need to take The Getty Center Tram, which takes about five minutes up the mountain to the museum. Keep to the left when going up the mountain to see more scenery.

• Packages larger than 11x17x8 inches must be stored
• Personal photography is allowed, but flash photography is prohibited. Professional photography such as wedding photos, model photos, etc. is prohibited.
