Touring at this historic place

The Kaysone Phomvihane Museum was established to mark the president of Laos' 75th birthday and serves as a memorial to one of Indochina's most prominent communist leaders. The museum is divided into several exhibits that chronicle the tale of Kaysone, who was actually quite discreet about his day-to-day activities in real life.

You may witness a number of bronze statues of Kaysone both inside and outside the museum, as well as a variety of his personal belongings. There's also a recreation of his childhood house and a model of the Hua Phan Province cave where he hid.
