#TravelLaos: Walk the morning market and drink coffee in Luang Prabang, a super chill city.

After offering sticky rice to the monks, we prepared to stroll around the Luang Prabang morning market, which is not too far from where we offered alms. It was just a short walk.

The Luang Prabang morning market focuses on selling fresh produce, such as vegetables, fruits, and meat. They also sell unusual items you might not have seen before. Besides fresh produce, there are also shops selling breakfast foods like congee, rice soup, khao piak, khao jee (grilled rice), bread, and coffee. If you'd like to buy some dried food as souvenirs or to take home, you can find them here. The prices are also reasonable.

We stopped by the coffee shop in front of the 3 Naga Hotel before heading back to our accommodation. The coffee here was delicious. I highly recommend you give it a try.

Luang Prabang is a small town on the banks of the Mekong River with a wonderful atmosphere. The people are lovely and friendly. It's like we can travel with peace of mind, without having to worry about language barriers like we do in other countries. I was very impressed.
