📍Wild Horse Lake is located near Yajiageng in Kangding, Ganzi Prefecture

1: Depart from Chengdu, pass through Laoyulin Village, and arrive at the Xuemengkan Viewing Platform in Yajiageng to start hiking. After hiking for about 2–3 km, you'll arrive at Wild Horse Lake, where you'll camp for the night. Enjoy a delicious Tibetan hot pot and stargaze at night.

2: Wake up in the morning to see the golden sunrise. After breakfast at the campsite, pack your luggage and hiking backpack. After a packed lunch and a short break by the lake, return to the starting point and drive back to Chengdu.

🔺Wild Horse Lake is beginner-friendly, with a short hiking distance and low difficulty. The scenery is worth it, with sea of clouds, snow-capped mountains, and blue ice lakes.
🔺Keep warm, as the wind is strong on the ridge. Gloves, woolen hats, quick-dry clothes, fleece, down jackets, and windbreakers are essential. Wear quick-dry pants and softshell/windproof pants. If you're afraid of the cold, pack an extra down jacket. Wear waterproof hiking shoes and wool socks.
