Luocheng Mulam Autonomous County is located in the northern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It is the only Mulam autonomous county in the country. The Mulam people are one of China's ethnic minorities, known for their unique culture and traditions. The Mulam trace their origins to the ancient Baiyue ethnic group and share close ties with the Dong and Zhuang ethnic groups. Their history dates back to the Qin and Han dynasties, and they gradually formed a distinct ethnic identity during the Song and Yuan dynasties.

· Language: Mulam language, part of the Kam-Tai branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family
· Rich oral literature: folk songs, myths, and legends
· Traditional festivals: Yifan Festival (Thanksgiving and Blessing) and Zouping Festival (Youth Socializing)

Their traditional attire features blue and indigo colors, with women wearing silver ornaments. Traditional dwellings are stilt-style houses, and their marriage customs preserve the ancient tradition of "Zouping"—singing duets to find a partner.
