White Horse Temple is located next to National Highway 310 in Baimasi Town, Chanhe Hui District, Luoyang City, Henan Province. As the birthplace of Chinese Buddhism, it carries a profound historical heritage. This ancient temple, which was first built in the 11th year of Yongping in the Eastern Han Dynasty (68 AD), is the first official temple built after Buddhism was introduced to China. It has witnessed the spread and development of Buddhist culture in China.

Stepping into the White Horse Temple is like traveling through time and space, back to the era when Buddhism first emerged. The temple has a rich collection of artifacts, including two relics of Sakyamuni Buddha, an ancient Chinese Buddha, and papier-mâché statues of the Eighteen Arhats from the Yuan Dynasty, each of which exudes the fragrance of history.

The annual "White Horse Temple Bell" event is a major event in the White Horse Temple. The melodious sound of the bells not only carries people's good wishes for blessing and bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, but also attracts many foreign tourists to participate and experience together this faith and blessing that transcends national boundaries. As a result, the White Horse Temple was selected as one of the "Eight Great Scenic Spots of Luoyang", becoming a bright business card for Luoyang tourism.
