The Luoyang Ancient Tombs Museum is a unique site dedicated to showcasing China's rich burial culture. Built over an actual archaeological site, the museum features more than 20 carefully restored tombs from the Han to Song dynasties. These underground chambers, complete with original-style murals, stone carvings, and replicas of burial items, offer a vivid look into how ancient Chinese elites prepared for the afterlife.

Admission is free, but visitors must make a reservation in advance. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM), and is closed on Mondays. It's a quiet and atmospheric place that feels more like stepping into history than visiting a typical museum.
