Xiangshan Temple, Luoyang 🛕 is a serene Buddhist temple nestled in the hills near the Longmen Grottoes. Dating back over 1,400 years, it has been rebuilt through dynasties but still holds ancient charm—stone stairways winding uphill, red lanterns swaying gently in the breeze, and incense smoke rising into the trees 🌿. Empress Wu Zetian of the Tang Dynasty once visited here, adding to its historical prestige. From the temple, you get stunning views over the Yi River and the cliffside Buddha carvings of the grottoes below—making it one of the most spiritual and scenic spots in Luoyang 🌄.
