This winter, why not get into the Christmas spirit at three spots: Yokohama Bay Quarter, Sogo Yokohama, and Yokohama Porta?

We'll be showcasing past popular events, as well as introducing the latest productions to look forward to in 2025-2026.



🎪 Yokohama Bay Quarter "Christmas Circus"
• 2020: Featuring an approximately 8-meter-tall real fir tree, circus tents, and Santa Town. A photogenic circus space! ✨
• Lindt Collaboration: A sweet-smelling Christmas filled with teddy bears and chocolate ornaments.
• 2023: Titled "Christmas Wonderland," the circus will evolve into a fantastical, illuminated production.

🆕 2025-2026 Forecast
• A light and sound show utilizing a circus theme
• A moving photo experience using AR
• Expect expanded interactive events such as candy distribution and live lighting ceremonies!



🌴 Christmas at Sogo Yokohama
• 2024: The theme will be "Fluffy Christmas." Palm tree decorations will be displayed at the basement entrance, and red poinsettias and a warm tree will be displayed in the 10th-floor garden.
• The interior will feature brown and red tones, creating a charming and soothing atmosphere.

🆕 2025-2026 Forecast
• An AR photo spot featuring moving fluffy characters
• Eco-friendly lumies made with sustainable materials
• It's likely to evolve into a gift market-style display that both adults and children can enjoy.



🌊 Christmas at Yokohama Porta
• 2024: Blue and gold illuminations. A gorgeous illuminated space inspired by Yokohama's ocean unfolds directly connected to the station.

🆕 2025-2026 Forecast
• A show with changing light colors depending on the time of day
• A share spot where you can earn rewards by posting on social media
• A new hub for downtown illuminations that station users can easily participate in.



📸 Visit Tips
• Best Time to Visit: Mid-November to early December is less crowded.
• Best Time to Visit: The illuminations after 5 PM are even more romantic when paired with a meal.
• Photo Tip: Capture the entire tree with a wide-angle lens and take advantage of the blurring of the night lights for a truly magical photo!
