A May Day trip in reverse, this small city in Yunnan is super relaxing with good food, shopping and fun! |||Starting from Kunming, we arrived at Mile to taste delicious food and soak in hot springs, and then went to the ancient village of Chengzi in Luxi, which is known as the "Little Potala Palace in Yunnan". Villagers drove buffaloes slowly through the village entrance, and the winding stream flowed quietly. This ancient village like a paradise on earth makes people peaceful and tranquil~

Drive for 50 minutes from Chengzi Ancient Town to Luxi County. Sit around the barbecue grill in the evening and enjoy the roasted potatoes surrounded by dozens of seasonings. How happy!

Day① Various places—Kunming (stay overnight)

Day②&③Kunming—Mile (stay overnight)
In the morning, drive from Kunming to Mile for 1.5 hours. In Mile, you can visit Dongfengyun, Taiping Lake Forest Park, Dianxi River Wetland, Jinping Mountain, and Huquan Ecological Park (suitable for strolling, enjoying the breeze and watching the sunset). 📢The detailed guide to Mile has been organized in the homepage notes~

Mile Food:
① Yongshan Food, with huge portions, a local family restaurant. My friend and I ordered three dishes and couldn’t finish them. It’s cost-effective, but the environment is average;

② Zhuyuan Braised Chicken Rice Noodles: If you want to eat the most authentic braised chicken rice noodles, it is recommended to drive to Zhuyuan Town, Mile. You can choose any one of them and you will not go wrong.

③ Liyong BBQ: Between Honghe Water Village and Hot Spring Hotel, the beef and pork skewers are very tender;

Day④Mileya-Chengzi Ancient City
It is not very convenient to go to Chengzi Ancient City from Mile by public transportation. It is recommended to rent a car and drive by yourself. The journey takes about 1 hour. Chengzi Ancient City 🎫20/person, parking fee is 10 yuan/vehicle

Chengzi Ancient Village is about 50 minutes away from Luxi County. It is recommended to depart from Mile early, visit Chengzi Ancient Town, and then drive to Luxi County to check in. There are many hotel options and the cost performance is higher.

In the evening, you can go to Fortune Plaza to eat roasted potatoes, stroll along the brightly lit Jinhui Plaza, and feel the noisy fireworks of this small city.

Day ⑤ Luxi - Alu Ancient Cave - Luxi Old Street
There are not many attractions in Luxi. You can visit Alu Ancient Cave and Luxi Old Street, but the snacks are really delicious and cheap. You can't stop eating roasted potatoes, cold rice noodles, and braised chicken feet.

Luxi food recommendation:
